Woman Paints Staircase With The Covers Of Her Favorite Books
Last year Pippa Branham and her family moved into their first permanent home in the UK, which finally allowed her to get as creative as she wants. Her first target was the staircase, which has now been transformed by painted spines of her and her husband’s favorite books.
Pippa was faced with the task of making the stairs safer for the children. The obvious solution was to carpet the stairs for £200. Yet browsing Pinterest she stumbled upon a photo of a staircase made out of book covers. That was all she needed to start a DIY project, that in the end cost her only £20 and because of the children’s play sand she added to the paint, it was just as grippy as the carpet.
