20 Stunning Images From The “Black and White Photo Awards 2023”
The Black and White Photo Awards once again honors the timeless charm of black and white photography. The 2023 winners, selected from almost 3,000 entries across 92 countries, have been revealed. French photographer Patrice Quillard claimed the top prize for his striking image “My Copyright,” featuring a gelada primate from the Ethiopian Highlands. The animal’s direct gaze forges a connection with both the photographer and the audience. Quillard described the moment as revealing the primate’s commanding presence.
Despite being only the second edition of the awards, the exceptional talent pool shone brightly. Winners were recognized in five categories—Street, Landscape, Flora and Fauna, Architecture, and Portrait. Check out some of the most stunning pics that won this year.
