Expressive Watercolor Animal Paintings By Luqman Reza
Watercolor is the paint we all started with. But few have turned into their passion like Luqman Reza Mulyono. As a little boy, he didn’t have any toys save for a sketch book and some pencils. Through the years, he advanced in skill guided by his passion to draw. Eventually, humble Mulyono discovered watercolor and taught himself everything he needed.
“Doing watercolor paintings I don’t really give too much attention to the rules and techniques,” Mulyono wrote on Bored Panda. “What I do is understanding the character of the watercolor, the paper and the water itself. Watercolor has a wet, expressive, and unpredictable character.” The author comes from Indonesia and is also known as “jongkie.”
