These Vinyl-Inspired Sinks Play Your Favorite Tunes While You’re Brushing Your Teeth
Olympia Ceramica is an Italian ceramics company that has been creating sanitary wares since 1979. As a homage to the 1980s, the company has recently designed a bathroom collection titled VINYL, inspired by vintage turntables.
The design was created by Gianluca Paludi, the artistic director and designer at Olympia Ceramica. He says the collection is for people who “appreciate nostalgia, the years of the legends, or for those who wants to race to the future but keeping an eye on the traditions, on the rhythm, on the entertainment from the funniest decades ever”.
The VINYL vanity unit resembles a DJ turntable – at the bottom of the sink lies the vinyl and the mixer is made to look like a tonearm. It even has an integrated Bluetooth amplifier so you can blast Pet Shop Boys, Bronski Beat or your other favorite 80s bands while you’re brushing your teeth.
