The 80s were a different time – flashy clothing, outrageous haircuts, and obsession with the future was all the rage. Naturally, that led to some interesting advertising choices – and even computer magazines weren’t spared.
Računari, translating to “computers” from Bosnian, was a Yugoslavian computer magazine in the 80s and early 90s. They needed something to catch the eye of the computer-savvy people of the time so they came up with a genius idea. They combined computer tech with beautiful women and had the covers looking more like Eastern Bloc Playboy’s rather than complicated tech magazines.
