30 Times This Artist Made Ugly Old Plates Better By Giving Them A Funny Update
Kamilek Majcher is a Berlin-based artist who came up with a creative way of giving ugly old plates a new life. She decorates them with funny phrases and dark humor captions, and the results are absolutely hilarious.
The artist explains that almost all of her works are inspired by real-life stories. “Some are drawn from the frivolous antics of my best friend, who also happens to act as the editor-in-chief for a selection of my favorite plate captions,” says Kamilek. :Others are often prompted by overheard gossip, urban observations, or simply my state of mind at the time. As it turns out, my most inspiring emotional state is that of disappointment.”
