35 Teachers Being Called Out Online For Their Toxicity
As much as we would like to believe that all teachers are good and wholesome, just like Anne of Green Gables aspired to be, the reality is that not every person has good intentions at heart. At the end of the day, a teacher is only a person and just as likely to give in to their insecurities, jealousies and pettiness when dealing with kids.
This does not make it okay in any way to project these toxicities onto young children of course, but it certainly is understandable that teachers are fallible human beings capable of doing the wrong thing too. Just as long as they humbly accept their mistakes and correct these behaviours. After all, teachers deal with highly impressionable minds daily and have a big influence as such. But while we hope for redemption in most cases of dealing with a toxic educator, some teachers seem to deserve their reputation as being crabby, bitter or spiteful based on their actions. People from all over the world recently shared the most disillusioning things they were told as kids by a clearly unprofessional teacher, which we hope to see far less of as an evolving, empathetic species.
