10 Beautiful Handmade Animal Sculptures Created By Lee Sangsoo
A South Korean artist named Lee Sangsoo is popular for his spiraling animal sculptures. His unique and interesting approach to the art of sculpture-making has stirred lots of curiosity amongst the netizens.
The artist studied art at Hongik University in Seoul and used his vision and creativity to fuel his passion. The idea of creating three-dimensional sculptures came to him when he saw abstract animal drawings by Picasso in his childhood. He uses mixed media techniques for his works. From resin to stainless steel, he tries different materials to create animals of varying shapes and sizes. After sculpting his swirling animals, the artist colors them with gradients to give them an appealing 3D effect.
