Disney Employee Draws Star Wars Characters And Their Cats

Published 9 years ago

The Internet loves cats all the time and Star Wars intermittently. Combine them together and you get a viral hit. These lovely pieces of geek-cat art were drawn by Griselda Lemay. They depict fan favorite bots BB-8 and R2-D2 surrounded by kittens – one way to improve these classical characters! The rest feature the newest Disney princesses – Leia, Padme, Rey – all with cats.

Griselda Lemay and her husband, Norm, make up the Griz and Norm art collective. They both work for Disney: Griz as a visual development artist and character designer, Norm as a storyboard artist.
