30 Dark Illustrations Featuring Pop Culture Characters By Russian Artist Konstantin Andreev
Konstantin Andreev is a Moscow-based artist who creates dark and creepy illustrations featuring various pop culture characters. Not only that – every year the artist participates in Inktober, a month-long event where artists challenge themselves to create an illustrations every day, and this year was no exception.
In a recent interview with Bored Panda, the artist said that he’s not a professional artists and drawing is just a hobby for him. He attended an art school when he was a kid and only got back to drawing back in 2016 when he started his Instagram account. “Drawing is my hobby, therefore I can’t say I got my style consciously. I would suppose it is a mixture of different styles I see every day in my IG feed, filled with awesome art by my favorite artists,” said Konstantin. “Not all of them are my favorites, but a few of them have definitely affected me!”

“My job is to create ideas and solutions. I’ve been doing it for ages and it became a way of doing anything in my life. So here is my art! All I need is an idea!” explained the artist. “When I get one, and there is time… voila! I’m inspired! Also, I love being challenged—that’s why I participate in Inktober.”
