This Airline Makes Traveling With Babies Easier With Their New Skycouch In The Economy Class
Are you tired of being cramped into a tiny seat with no leg room with your baby when flying economy class? Air New Zealand has come up with a solution everyone flying with infants can get behind – a three seat wide couch seat called the Skycouch.
First announced in this year’s March, the Skycouch became available to everyone flying in the airline’s Boeing 777 and 787-9 planes in the middle of 2018. Air New Zealand says this seat provides additional comfort and protection for infants and peace of mind for parents or caregivers. The Skycouch measures 1.55m (5ft 1”) in length and 74cm (29”) in depth. The seat even has a harness and belt that allows infants to remain lying down throughout the flight. It’s perfect for those traveling with infants or young children or simply for ones who enjoy a little more personal space.
