Frightening See-Through Rooms 400 Feet Above The Sacred Valley In Peru
Some people like to climb mountains. But how many want to sleep clinging to a mountain? Because that’s what the Skylodge hotel offers to the visitors. Located in Peru’s Sacred Valley, the three suits hang from the side of Via Ferrata mountain. To get there, you might need to hike 400 meters. You then enter the room capsules through the top hatch. Enjoy your night by watching the Sacred Valley, any condors flying by and clinging to the wall for your dear life.
The capsules are made from aerospace aluminum and weather resistant polycarbonate. Each suite has four beds, a dining area and a bathroom. The inside lights are powered by solar batteries that charge during the day. Even the dry toilet has an observation dome!
All in all, this fun trip costs around $300.
