Artist Turns Old Watch Parts Into Steampunk Sculptures
Clock parts can be used to make things other than clocks or clutter. Susan Beatrice of All Natural Arts uses those parts to make tiny steampunk sculptures. From butterflies that sit on the tip of a finger to bunnies sitting in your palms to scenes that fit in a pocket watch, the list goes on. It’s like a workshop of some mad scientist trying to replace nature with clockwork automatons!
Susan Beatrice is nothing of the sort, as she’s a consummate artist. At 15 her art had already been displayed at the Congressional Offices. But she isn’t limited to drawing or steampunk art: she has also made sculptures out of sand, pumpkins and cake.
Got wisdom to pour?
Are the pieces soldered together or glued?
Oh I love these! I want to try and see what I come up with! You are marvelous!
