Being self-aware is an awesome personal trait which can turn you into an insightful and relatable person. But the road towards that is usually littered with self-doubt, awkwardness in social situations and even feelings of shame about who you are.

To illustrate that most of it is in your head, writer Willie Muse and illustrator Paul Westover have teamed up and created a set of comics showing the difference between how the world looks when you feel self-conscious and how it actually looks.
