Artist Redraws 20 Disney Characters With Realistic Body Features
Thinking that Disney movies are fantasy is a no-brainer. A lot of aspects just seem to be out-of-the-ordinary. For example, nobody sings when they are faced with a life-changing obstacle. No animals would gather around and sing with you when you sing alone in a forest. And of course, no one is willing to sacrifice their life to the girl whom they just met fifteen seconds ago.
If you think of the fantasy factors of Disney movies, those are just a few of what you’ll consider. However, some may have ignored the fact that some characters’ body proportions are a bit on the fantasy side. And the TikToker @fartscapade exposes just that by showing us how Disney characters would look like if they were a bit more realistic. Below, you’ll see 20 of your favorite Disney characters in accurate, realistic, and non-heavily edited body sizes!

Got wisdom to pour?
Making them fatter doesn’t make it realistic. Sure some of them were unrealistically skinny but giving them realistic proportions would be making them look realistically skinny not just making them fatter. Also not all of their body types are unrealistic. I literally know people who have some of their body types and they are very healthy.
Like me 😊
Babes, their waists are about the size of their necks. Nobody in this world looks like that
Making them fat doesn’t make them realistic. There are different body types out there. Some women are naturally small. Ariel’s body was based off a real woman, not to mention she swims all day. How would she get fat? Cinderella was a house slave who most likely was fed scraps so of course she’s skinny. Not to mention she most likely wore a corset with her ball gown. Most disney princesses probably wore corsets with their dresses. Another thing weren’t most of these girls teenagers?
I really worry about the people in the comments who are saying a woman with a waist the size of a fairly normal forearm is a healthy woman, especially for a woman who otherwise has normal or broad shoulders. Frankly, some of the original proportions would mean an extremely abnormal ribcage, even if you assume a woman with no body fat and a corset. If giving characters room for bones and organs makes you see them as fat, then you ARE the problem being pointed out here.
Making them fat isn’t realistic. Little mermaid body was based off an real womans. Not to mention, Cinderella was a house slave who most likely didn’t get to eat a lot. Add on to her probably wearing a corset with her ball gown, of course she looks skinny. Most disney princesses most likely wear corsets with their dresses. Not to mention if you’re trying to make them look realistic, making them all fat definitely isn’t the way to go. Not all women are fat, some are skinny also.
I’m worried for the peeps who are saying “the original is proportionate” and “you’re just making them fat”. Have you looked at yourself in the mirror, like actually looked at yourself? The artist is making them proportionate by adding some natural body pudge. The artist adding pudge to their stomach isn’t making them ‘fat’. Learn some body anatomy before calling someone ‘fat’ just because they have a normal lungs.
Prince Eric to Prince Dork in 10 pounds wow
So, I’m not realistic now
I have a body type like Rapunzel
I know, right? Lots of healthy girls have bodies just like hers. Those praising it don’t understand why they made them the way they are in the first place.

I see what you are saying but these characters were skinny so to make it realistic the artist could’ve drawn them more realistically skinny not just give them more weight. Most of the characters redrawn are just redrawn with more weight which kind of takes away from the realistic side of it because realistically they wouldn’t be that big they would be skinnier just more realistically skinny.
Oh my Go- who asked for this?? Huh? The libtards? The friggin libutards!?
Every single one is hotter after. Not the guys though. None of them were too out of proportion to begin with.
You’re just making them fatter. Skinny women exist if you want to be “realistic. Besides that, they commonly used blouses to make them look thinner back then, so how is it UNrealistic?
Wow, alright.
Wow, alright. Go look at Ariel and Jasmine and tell me that’s a healthy precedent to set. Also, of course skinny women exist, but that doesn’t mean that media should only focus on them. We’re aiming for representation here, that was pretty clear here.
I think some of the waists were too thin
A lot of them are kind of fucking disgusting now.
