Real-Life Kiki’s Bakery Opens Up In Japan’s Fairytale Village
The sad part about an awesome movie is that all its magic is packed into a limited timeframe, that will stay the same forever. And some take that harder than others, like the Japanese for example, who have recently made some improvements to their Yufuin Floral Village (aka Fairytale Village). The main one being the opening of an actual Kiki’s bakery.
For those who don’t know, Kiki’s Delivery Service is one of the world’s most beloved animes. Created by the same guys in Studio Ghibli, who brought you My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle. It is a story about a young witch named Kiki who starts off working for a bakery with her talking cat Jiji, delivering bread to your door by a broomstick (a popular delivery method in Japan).
So for you guys, who refuse to believe it all ends with a movie, now there is a new place to dream about.
