Photographer Finds The Same People He Shot 30 Years Ago And Recreates Their Photos
Back in the 1970s, 80s, and 90s British photographer Chris Porsz was constantly wandering around the city of Peterborough with his camera in hand, snapping hundreds of street portraits. Now, almost 40 years later, he’s recreating the very same portraits for which he’s tracked down the same people and even the same locations.
135 remakes in total feature the widest variety of people, from punks to romantic couples saying their goodbyes. His photo series is a unique retrospective not only of the lives of his photo subjects but also the evolution of city life during those four decades.
You can buy Porsz’s book “Reunions” through his website.
