Cartoon Characters Show Their Real Age
Cinema bequeaths sort of immortality, preserving images for all eternity, and it’s doubly so for cartoon characters. Andrew Tarusov imagined how cartoon characters would look if they were their current age. “Born” in 1940, Tom And Jerry would be in no position to run around that much or to endure grievousbodily harm. Crotchety old Daffy Duck is spot on, too!
Andrew Tarusov is a Russian Illustrator now living in the US. He draws a lot of inspiration from the illustrations of 1950’s and 1960’s, and is a great fan of pinup art. Cartoon characters just so happen to be contemporaries of Tarusov’s inspirations.. We’ve previously written about his work turning Disney princesses into pinup models.
