Bored Employee Uses 8,024 Post-It Notes To Transform Boring Office
Plain old office walls driving you mad? Then you understand why Ben Brucker got his coworkers to decorate them with superhero murals! And not just any kind of murals – Post-it murals! Yes, the humble sticky paper notes were used to produce these geeky works of art and love. In all, 8,024 pieces were used in a day long battle against boredom and white walls.
The project makes sense considering that Ben works at a creative agency – after all, these are the kind of people one expects to be creative. According to what he said to reddit, it took Ben several weeks to plan and design the characters, who look a lot like pixel art. He had full support for this project: his boss not only allocated a $300 budget for the materials, but also helped put the murals up!
But why Post-its? Well, the agency is planing to move office in a few months, so the design had to be non-permanent. Who knows what fun-hating, pony-loving grouches could move in next?
