This Chinese Blogger Transforms Herself Into Mona Lisa, And Nobody Would Expect This

Published 7 years ago

He Yuhong is a Chinese blogger and her makeup skills will put everyone to shame. If you thought that winged eyeliner or a smokey eye look is difficult, have you ever considered how much effort it would take to, let’s say, paint Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa on your face? Well, Ms. He, 26, posted on her Miaopai channel a video of her recreating the famous painting on her face, and people went nuts, her video was watched more than 20 million times!

“Once you see your face as a blank piece of paper, the opportunities are endless,” she wrote next to her imitative makeup series. She decided to create this look after one fan jokingly suggested that she should start recreating classical pieces of art, and she definitely succeeded.

“I love oil paintings myself,” Ms. He told the Daily Mail. “So, when I saw the great response on the Mona Lisa video, I went on to create ‘Lady with an Ermine’ to continue the Da Vinci theme.” Her work can take up to 6 hours to finish, and after you’ll see the finished result, you’ll totally understand why.
