This Artist Brings Disney Princesses To The 21st Century
If you ever used TikTok, you probably know that it’s full of adults dancing to children’s songs, cringy duets, and, of course, Indian Joker. However, occasionally you can actually stumble upon something truly creative – like 29-year-old artist Yudelmis “Yudie” San Emeterio who has recently been making the rounds on TikTok with her modern recreations of Disney princesses.
In a recent interview with Buzzfeed, the artist said she saw people giving makeovers to Disney characters and just couldn’t help herself. She says that her main goal is keeping the transformations as close to the original style and texture as possible.

Rapunzel
@vanotyartsThe trickiness with 3D edits is that they’re a bit more involved, but Rapunzel is worth it ❤️ ##rapunzel ##disneyprincess ##gloupdisney♬ GREEDY x TREASURE – conradrocha

Mulan
@vanotyartsI knew that I wanted to do something more dramatic for Mulan, and I love the “ABG” look, so… ##abg ##mulan ##disneyprincess ##gloupdisney♬ Candy – Doja Cat

The artist also edited Jane from Tarzan
@vanotyartsOut of all the female leads in Disney, I resonate with Jane the most. I’m still waiting for my Tarzan, though 😂 ##disneyprincess ##gloupdisney ##jane♬ Tarzan Medley: You’ll Be in My Heart / Two Worlds / Strangers Like Me / Trashin’ the Camp – Anthem Lights
