20+ Honest Posters Show Our Addiction To Technology
Technology, like many other things (except for cats), should be enjoyed in moderation. Ajit Johnson’s series “#This Generation” shows what happens when we don’t. Minimalistic illustrations demonstrating alienation, egoism and selfie culture tread on familiar ground. On the other hand, some dangers do warrant constant reminders: we never stopped driving drunk, so neither wwould we stop obsessing over Facebook after one study.
Ajit Johnson is a Ph. D. student of cancer genetics and genomics at University of Edinburgh. During his free time he draws “to spread love, hope and encouragement”. Johsnon says that he’s not a technophobe, but he’s aware technology’s dangers, and encourages us to put down our phones when talking to people.
