Artist Creates Brilliant Illustrations Using Minimal Undulating Lines And Geometric Shapes (15 Pics)
Adam G., a designer, creates interesting illustrations using his signature messymod (messy modernism) technique. The artist’s studio “TRÜF Creative” is based in Santa Monica and he aims to create visionary designs for visionary clients. Although he has been creating illustrations, art, and design for over 25 years, he started making these unique minimal designs in the past 5 years.
In an interview with DeMilked, the artist says, “I’m inspired by balance and flow between contrasting and juxtaposing forms. I think it really comes from my decades in graphic design mixed with my fine art sensibilities.” Check out some of his brilliant works in the gallery below.

The artist says that his creative process is totally free and totally restrictive at the same time. “I don’t necessarily have a plan or subject matter in mind when I start, it’s more of an exploration to see how I can make connections between elements that eventually become a form, insect, animal, etc. However, I restrict myself to only using a minimal color palette and certain shapes and lines that I’ve established over the years. All in all, it makes me feel relaxed and focused which helps with my more commercial work. I suppose it becomes a kind of creative meditation,” he elaborated.
