Crafting Creatures: The Magic Of Metallic Animal Sculptures By Georgie Seccull (10 Pics)

Published 1 year ago

Georgie Seccull, a gifted sculptor from Australia, embarked on an artistic odyssey that led her to explore the possibilities of stainless steel, a material that has enabled her to craft magnificent, delicate, and fluid forms of animals. Her sculptures have sturdiness and elegance, creating a dynamic interplay between material and form.

In a note to DeMilked, she revealed, “I have been working with stainless steel for around 8 years now, before then I was working with mostly paper and salvaged materials creating large scale art installations for commercial and residential spaces. I was drawn to stainless steel because it is such a hard heavy material yet has the ability to hold such delicate and fluid forms.”

Check out some of her amazing works in the gallery below.
