Impressive Mermaid Crowns Made With Real Seashells
We’ve introduced you to the traditional Ukranian floral headdresses, but now let’s take a more modern approach. We’re talking, of course, about a new trend of mermaid crowns.
27-year-old Melbourne-based florist Chelsea Shiels, started off with classic flower head attires, but soon she decided to put a unique spin on her production. That’s when she came up with these dreamy looking mermaid crowns made with real seashells.
“I’ve always wanted to be Ariel, under the sea. I’m a real beach bum. That was where my obsession with the sea and shells came from”, Shiels said to Cosmopolitan. What started as a private hobby now became a fully-grown business. Her works can be seen in festivals, themed parties, and photoshoots, spreading that Hawaiian fairy tale vibe.
