Teens Destroy 320,000,000 Years Of History In A Few Seconds, And It Will Make You Boil With Anger
The Brimham Rocks, located in North Yorkshire, England, are a natural formation of rocks, that have been formed by the elements for about 320 million years. Or should we say ‘were’?
Earlier this month, a group of vandals damaged the ancient formation in mere seconds – “at around 8.45pm on Friday, 1 June a group of five young people were seen pushing a rock at the top of one of the crags,” said North Yorkshire Police. The teens pushed the rock down the crag and damaged it, causing irreplaceable damage and creating a potentially dangerous condition. “It is just completely pointless and needless,” said Helen Clarke of the National Trust.
The police are asking for help identifying the potential criminals: “If you have any information about the identity of those responsible please contact officers on 101, choosing option 2 and quote reference 12180097959. Alternatively, email bill.hickson@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.”
