No-Shave November is coming, and to give you a head start we’re bringing you some reasons why you should consider growing a beard (or persuade someone to do so).

Besides the Official Journal of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society releasing a paper with scientific proof that women find bearded men more attractive, there are also some great causes you can help by raising awareness simply by growing facial hair.

Besides the No-Shave November, there’s also Movember, both initiatives raising money for cancer prevention programs. They work by encouraging people to donate the money they’d otherwise spend on shaving products. And hey, if that’s not enough to get you on board, just check how cool these celebrities look with a stash of hair on their face.
