35 Hilarious And Slightly NSFW Comics By Drawtism
If you love dark humor and NSFW comics, you’ve come to the right place because hardly anyone combines these two things better than this UK-based artist going by Drawtism online. The artist creates short comics that poke fun at all sorts of absurd situations we tend to find ourselves in, and they’re as accurate as they are hilarious.
Looking at Drawtism’s sarcastic comics, it’s pretty hard to believe that the man is formally an engineer with no art training. However, this doesn’t seem to stop him. He started creating the comics back in 2018 after getting into a motorcycle accident that left him hospitalized for 5 months. It was then that he started doodling on his iPad and found the whole thing pretty fun. “Fast forward 12 months and scrolling through social media, I stumbled across some very bad portraits someone was trying to sell, and I chuckled to myself and thought, ‘I could do that’ as a bit of a joke, so I posted on a local sales page a badly drawn picture of a dog which was received hugely with laughs all around, but eventually the mods took my post down,” joked Drawtism in an interview with Bored Panda. After that, the man started his own Facebook and Instagram pages where he currently has over 200k followers combined.
The artist says he’s a huge fan of Liz Climo, Adamtots, and Coolman CoffeeDan but has always had a very dry and blunt sense of humor and a slightly surreal approach. “I think it’s possibly a British sense of humor,” said the artist.
