8 Hilarious Christmas Cards This Family Has Created Since 2013
When giving Christmas presents, most of us like to attach a little card with a few warm words inside. However, instead of simply buying a regular run-of-the-mill at a local supermarket, this family decided to start creating unique and hilarious Christmas cards of their own.
Danielle and Mike started the tradition of creating funny Christmas cards back in 2013, and have been producing a new one every holiday season since. In an interview with Bored Panda, Danielle said she came up with the idea when she was pregnant with their first. “I have a bit of a twisted sense of humor and wanted to do something funny to send to family and friends,” explained the woman. “That’s when I came up with the first card!”

The family also decided to put a little spin on it – they choose a classic Christmas song and then try to incorporate the lyrics into the title.
When creating the photo, Danielle uses a tripod to take 2 or 3 photos and then blends them all together in Photoshop. “Other effects [and objects] are added digitally as well, like duct tape (in Silent Night, my son has it over his mouth), tattoos, and so on. It’s hard to wrangle kids and pets into one single photo, so this is easier for me,” explained the woman.

The couple send the cards to about 50 of their closest people and says that they all look forward to the family’s latest card. “They’ve been well-received and we plan to continue doing them!” said the family.
