30 Comics By Skeleton Claw That Are Full Of Hilarious Twists

Published 5 years ago

Thanks to the almighty internet, we no longer have to wait for the Sunday paper to read some hilarious comics. Just click a few buttons and voilà! – you’re browsing comics online and the next three hours of your life are gone. And today we got you some cheeky comics full of hilarious twists by comic artist Andy AKA Skeleton Claw.

In an interview with Bored Panda, the artist says he usually comes up with ideas for his comics when he’s either talking to his friends, going on a long walk or is drifting off to sleep. “Some strange inkling of a thought pops into my head and I’ll write it down. Sometimes they become comics, more often they remain notes on my phone,” said Andy.

The artist says he wanted to be an artist since he was very young. When he started school, drawing became a way to escape from endless boredom. “When I was in college, I dabbled with the idea of becoming an Artist (with a capital ‘A’) but decided that it didn’t feel like a genuine way to express myself,” added Andy. “A few years ago I stumbled on accident onto the idea of drawing comics, and something just kind of clicked.”

Even though the artist has thousands of fans on social media, he believes there’s always room for improvement and that sometimes can be a problem for him. “The biggest challenge I’ve faced is learning to not pay too much attention to what people say. If 99% of the feedback is positive, my natural tendency is to look at the 1% that isn’t,” said Andy. He used to be bothered by the negative comments when he was starting out but says that nowadays he’s much less affected. “I try to keep a healthy distance between what I do and what people say about it,” said the artist.

The artist gave some advice to new artists: “You’re not going to get better by hiding. Your fear is absolutely holding you back. Share your work now, if only to prove to yourself that you are no coward. Afterwards, you’ll find that what felt like jumping off a cliff was in reality no scarier than stepping off the curb.”

Aušrys Uptas

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
