Amazing Shots Show Erupting Volcano That Seems To Be Spewing Ash Into The Milky Way

Published 8 years ago

We’ve already witnessed the amazing photography skills of Albert Dros when he captured the beauty of the Netherlands. But during his recent trip to Fuego Volcano in Guatemala, the photographer seems to have outdone even himself.

He came back with a stunning series of photos featuring the natural marvel of Guatemala, which erupts multiple times a day. “Erupting lava is best visible in evening and night, so I was obviously going for that,” Dros told Daily Mail. And he managed to time his shots so perfectly that it looks like the volcano is spewing ashes right into the Milky Way.

“When I finally saw Fuego erupt up close, combined with the power of its sound, I was paralyzed with awe. It was amazing and was one of the most impressive things I had ever seen in nature.”

And to make us envy him even more, he added: “The sight of an erupting volcano is something I was only used to seeing in movies, it was surreal.”
