Watch The Smallest Rodeo Ever As This Tiny Frog Tries To Ride A Beetle
Sure, riding a horse might be fun, but who wouldn’t want a flying mount? This frog certainly did! Photographer Hendy Mp captured the hilarious spectacle of a frog trying to ride a beetle. Surprisingly, it seems that it succeeded with flying colors! Alas, the beetle can’t fly with someone sitting on its back, so it all ended with the world’s tiniest rodeo. At least the frog seemed to enjoy it.
“It was such an amazing moment, the frog just saw the beetle and decided to crawl on top,” said the photographer. “The frog was on the beetle for five minutes and the insect was just happily running around.”
Indonesia is home to many small frogs and grossly over-sized beetles like these. The tiny amphibian cowboy is a Reinwardt’s Flying Frog – a near-threatened species.
Got wisdom to pour?
The frog’s behavior and body positions (mouth open, bent appendages [“fingers”]) all indicate this shoot was staged and the frog was placed in distress by the photographer.
Marty, you asshole for pandering to ‘fake news’ and sensationalism. Neither creature gave consent to be manipulated and neither enjoyed any of it. Be a better reporter and learn to accept responsibility.
