From Ordinary Ingredients To Disney Magic: Woman’s 20-Hour Food Art Will Leave You Speechless
Laleh Mohmedi never imagined that turning her son Jacob’s pancakes into a lion would spark a global sensation. “He loved it!” she recalls. Soon, he began requesting characters from movies, books, and toys, turning mealtime into a creative and educational experience. “Jacob and I would discuss ingredients and their benefits—like how kale is a superfood because ‘superheroes love eating it!’”
Encouraged by a positive response, Laleh launched Jacob’s Food Diaries on Instagram, and within a month, it went viral. Her stunning food art, crafted with natural ingredients and no refined sugar, gained recognition from Time Magazine, The Huffington Post, Disney Channel, and even a feature on The Ellen Show.
Now collaborating with brands like Disney, Nickelodeon, and 20th Century Fox, Laleh’s intricate food sculptures—some taking up to 20 hours—continue to amaze. “We never thought our little kitchen creations would become a full-time business, but we love every minute of it!”
Her edible masterpieces prove that with a little creativity, even the simplest ingredients can become magic.
