Body Painter Turns Humans Into Animals

Published 10 years ago

Florida-based artist Shannon Holt is a master of disguising human body under her unique body art paintings. In her “Florida Wildlife Series,” her models became canvases for colorful animal portraits that took Holt from 6 to 12 hours to paint each.

Talking about the transience of her artworks, she added: “It’s here and then it’s gone. It’s kind of like ourselves — we’re here on the Earth and then we’re gone, and it’s beautiful.
