Polish Artist Creates Double Exposure Tattoos Inspired By ‘True Detective’

Published 9 years ago

You’ve probably heard about double exposure photography when two images are merged together for interesting results. But have you heard about double exposure tattoos? No? Then let us enlighten you.

Wroclaw-based Polish tattoo artist Andrey Lukovnikov is the main character of the story. He combines insects’ silhouettes with colorful flowers to create awesomely vivid tattoos.

The artist makes these tattoos in the traditional manner, as it’s more of a style than a technique, which rapidly gained popularity after the memorable intro of the HBO’s “True Detective” TV series.

Can you imagine one like this on you? What sort of combination would you pick?
