Published 4 years ago

Alex Solis is an illustrator and 3D sculptor who likes to show famous pop culture characters from a different perspective. In his series titled Unpopular Culture, the artist reimagines some of our favorite characters in the most unexpected situations, and some of his illustrations might change the way you look at them forever.

In a recent interview with Bored Panda, Alex said that in this series, he’s exploring pop culture icons in a alternate reality that reflects our current society. “I hope to help people see things from a new perspective, or at the very least, enjoy nostalgic feelings and a good laugh to brighten their day,” says the artist.

Aušrys Uptas

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
