Illustrator Shows How Classic Disney Movies Would Look If They Were Made In 2017
Most of us know every little detail from classic Disney movies by heart, but have you ever wondered, how would these stories look if they were made today? UK-based graphic artist Tom Ward has, and his versions offer us a quite a bit darker sight than you probably remember from your childhood.
This time around the Disney characters have smartphones, deal with real-world problems like pollution, cruelty towards animals and even domestic abuse… How’s that for a change?
With this series Tom called “Alt Disney,” he points out that even if the world of Disney is full of magic and happy endings, the world we live in has serious problems that need attention.
