This Artist Turns Human Disney Characters Into Animals And Animals Into Humans (15 Pics)
Even though Disney characters are pretty unique by themselves, artists are constantly coming up with all sorts of interesting new interpretations of them. Just take Alex Pick, aka apiccolodraws, for example – the artist is recreating animal Disney characters into humans and vice versa in a project he calls Disney humanimals, and his amazing work gathered him a following of over 115k people on Instagram.
In a recent interview with Bored Panda, the artist said he had the idea for these transformations for a very long time, and that he loves these types of mashups. “I saw a few of these from other artists and thought I wanted to do my own take on the Disney HUMANIMALS!” said Alex. “Had that in mind for a very long time! And it’s so much fun!”
Alex says he has been drawing ever since he could hold a pencil and never wanted to do anything else. “I dreamed to work for Disney as a kid, and to see my name on the screen or in the cinema in the credits of movies!” says the artist. “Since 2000, I’ve been working as a designer for a German animation studio! And in my free time, I draw a lot of fanart.”
