Finnish Teacher Can’t Believe His Eyes After He Spots “Dancing” Bear Cubs In The Forest
Imagine taking a stroll through a lush Finnish forest and suddenly spotting an almost surreal scene – a sleught of bear cubs dancing in a circle. You’d probably feel like you’ve just found yourself in a Disney movie and end up mumbling Mr. Peanutbutter’s famous quote – “What is this, a crossover episode?” Believe it or not, this happened to Finnish physical education teacher Valtteri Mulkahainen when he was exploring the woods around Martinselkonen back in 2013.

In an interview with Bored Panda, Valtteri said the bears were acting like little children – playing around and even starting a few friendly fights. “I felt like I was on a playground in front of my house, where small children frolic around. That’s how much they reminded me of little children,” said the man. “At one point, the three of them got up on their hind legs and started pushing each other. It was like they were dancing in a circle.”
And don’t worry, the teacher was in no danger when took the photos – he took them from a shelter 50 meters (164 feet) away.

Turns out bears are actually quite a common sight in Finnish forests. The only place where they don’t live is the Åland Islands.

Even though Valterri’s photos might inspire you to go out there and take some of your own, you should be careful. Despite looking big and clumsy, bears are actually pretty fast and are good tree climbers and swimmers. So if you want to photograph these majestic creatures, you better keep your distance.
