Stephanie Pokorny is a mother and crochet artist who proved crocheting is not just your grandma’s favorite pastime activity. The artist creates unique crocheted full-body Halloween costumes for her kids and now you’ll want one too.
In an interview with Bored Panda, Stephanie said she freehand crochets full-body Halloween costumes for her children every year. “Sometimes these unique costumes are from classic ’80s movies, other times from whatever movie or toy is popular at the time,” said the artist.

“Once they choose their Halloween costume ideas, I begin on bringing them to life,” explained Stephanie. “They love to follow along with my progress, and each day they ask, ‘Is it done yet?'”
Each of the costumes takes the artist between 25 to 40 hours to finish and she usually takes about two weeks.

Stephanie says has been crocheting since she was 16. “I was taught by my Grandma, and these creative costumes are my passion,” explained the artist.
