As the person behind Lord von Schmitt, a shop on Etsy, he creates vividly colorful shorts, pants, and capris out of recycled materials, giving them a priceless vintage look. He couldn’t stress enough that the groovy designs are not only suitable for women, but for men as well.

“Afghan blankets are original pieces of folk art, hand made by artisans across America since the 1960’s and well before,” writes Ellers, explaining the origins of the materials used. “With scissors and a sewing machine I transform vintage crochets into wearable sculpture!”
