Jaw-Dropping Pumpkin Carvings By Jon Neill
October is a holy month for Halloween enthusiasts, when the atmosphere crackles with anticipation of the ghostliest, spookiest, and craziest night of the year! Jon Neill, a famous sculptor and a member of the Laguna College of Art and Design’s Sculpture faculty, is one of those enthusiasts, professionally creating jaw-dropping pumpkin carvings that will spook even the bravest trick-or-treaters.
Neill’s biography is simply astonishing. Now the senior illustrator at the Art Directors Guild, he began his career in movies with Michael Jackson’s Ghosts, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and the T2-3D ride for Universal Studios. He specializes in conceptual design, illustration, specialty prop, creature and costume creation for television and feature films. He also sculpts for the toy industry, museum exhibits, television and movies.
