“I was always drawn to art and creativity from a young age, but it wasn’t until I discovered the world of illustration that I truly found my passion. I was inspired by the work of artists like Saul Steinberg, Tomi Ungerer, and Patrick McDonnell, who had a significant influence on my style and inspiration,” says the artist in an interview with DeMilked, “I love how illustrations can tell a story and convey emotions in a way that words alone cannot. I also appreciate the versatility of the medium, as illustrations can be used in a variety of contexts, from books and magazines to murals and fashion. Overall, illustration allows me to express my creativity and share my unique perspective on the world.”

Describing his process and techniques, Yuval says, “The creative process for me usually begins with an idea or concept that I want to convey through an illustration. My next step is to sketch the composition and refine it, playing with color and texture until the end result is what I want. The small moments that convey a deeper connection between humans often inspire me, as well as everyday life and relationships.”
