As kids, we thought our parents had all the answers and knew everything. As adults we’ve come to realise that they were just cluelessly muddling along hoping for the best, fingers crossed with just as many hopes, dreams and idealistic notions as us.

These random images show off wacky haircuts and outfits to parents engaged in some, ahem, “activities”. Lots of things have changed now, but this deep dive really helps us to appreciate where our parents were coming from during their heyday.
