10+ Funniest Entries To The 2017 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards
This is the cutest reminder you’re going to get today. The 2017 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards (see 2016) are still open for submissions, but as we wait for the finalists, some hilarious snaps of the animal kingdom have already emerged.
While the comedy aspect is a big part of the event, the photographers Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam actually founded the awards to serve as a spotlight for wildlife conservation efforts.
“The last two years have seen some fantastic entries,” they said. “We want to see even more animals represented than before. Go out and photograph, wherever you are… a squirrel could win the competition. We want to raise awareness of conservation of all animals all over the world, so wherever you are, take pictures of those wilder things!”
If these shots can’t compare to what you have in store, hurry up and submit your masterpiece. The deadline for the entries is the 30th of September.
