World’s First Color-Changing Hair Dye Adjusts To Your Surroundings

Published 8 years ago

Running out of ideas for a new hairstyle? Then maybe you need to look at it from a different point of view, just like Lauren Bowker, who has created a color-changing hair dye that also acts as a thermometer.

Lauren called her company The Unseen, and now she’s pushing her hair dye design which changes color depending on the temperature of the surroundings. It’s called FIRE, and it would be available in multiple color ranges from bright red to more subtle colors and would last over a few washes.

The brand is still currently looking for commercial partners to take the idea to the market, so fingers crossed.
