Photographer Shows The Diversity Of Love Through Photos Of Chicken Couples (24 Pics)
Moreno Monti and Matteo Tranchellini are two Italian photographers with a unique obsession – chickens. The two have been photographing them for years and are even planning to release a coffee table book titled Chicken in love.
Moreno says that everything started with a simple photoshoot at a bird show. His friend and work partner Matteo joined him and that’s how the two started their photographic project called CHICken. The photographer says they’ve taken pictures of hundreds of chickens to create their first photographic book showcasing the hidden beauty of these animals. “This work is a tribute to love and diversity because you know, love is love,” says the photographer. “No matter who and no matter how. Just look at them. They are beautiful and look like real couples in life. And they know it.”
The photographers say the chickens were “natural born posers”. “They were just themselves and had a natural ability to move in front of the camera. Some of them were photographed from the side, from behind or with only a glance over the shoulder. A NATURAL TALENT,” write Moreno and Matteo on their website.
