Together with Hong Kong- and Hangzhou-based architecture firm LYCS, Chinese architect Ruan Hao has created a brilliant work table designed to help cats and busy working people coexist peacefully once and for all.
The table looks normal except for the network of smooth wooden tunnels beneath its surface. While you work up above, your feline friend can explore the tunnels below, occasionally popping their head out for a snack or a scratch between the ears.
“Putting away the cat from your lap top was like a sentimental ritual of temporary farewell,” writes LYCS, which is a nice way of saying that you will no longer have to keep lifting your cat off of your keyboard.
