“From Timber to Timeless”: Artist Creates Incredible Landscapes By Burning Wood
Jynae Bergeron, known as Art & Airplanes, has taken pyrography to new heights through her striking woodburned artworks. With a passion for nature and a commitment to sustainability, she transforms reclaimed wood into stunning pieces of art that reflect the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Her artistic journey began in 2011 when she first started woodburning. However, it was only three years ago that she embarked on the path of blending woodworking and woodburning to create her distinctive pieces. In an interview with DeMilked, she mentioned her inspirations saying, “My family and friends greatly influenced me. My dad is a retired woodworker who taught me everything I know, and my grandfather passed down a woodburning tool that I started playing with over a decade ago. I’m inspired by my favourite landscapes and animals and the overwhelming desire to represent them in a beautiful, cohesive way.”
Jynae Bergeron’s creative process is a meticulously orchestrated dance between woodworking and woodburning. When asked about it, she said, “Between woodworking and woodburning, I could write an entire book on my very involved creative process. There are so many different tools, techniques, and types of wood to learn – all unique and requiring a different skillset. In a brief nutshell: I draw it, I build it, I burn it, I finish it. ”

Got wisdom to pour?
Working from home, I earn $165 per hour. When my neighbor told me she was now making an average of $95, I was very astonished, but now (ubd-83) I understand how it works. I now have a great deal of freedom thanks to becoming my own employer.
