Melancholic B&W Watercolors Of Children And Wild Animals
Indonesia-based artist Elicia Edijanto paints these beautiful black and white watercolors, contrasting the majestic animals with the small figures of children.
In some of the watercolors the interaction between the animals and the kids is modest, quiet, and somewhat philosophical, as they stand in front of each other and gazing into each other’s eyes. In other works, though, the two living beings are more relaxed in each other‘s company, free to go on the journeys to the far lands together.
